I was diagnosed with DCIS Stage 4 only four days after giving birth to my son. The day was Dec. 7 2011. Everyone was shocked--myself included. A couple of weeks later, I began weekly chemotherapy treatments. By the 10th week of my 12 week scheduled plan, I was told that I am now in complete remission. That call came on March 30, 2011. When asked, I tell people that prayers were offered on my behalf from all around the world--literally...and I certainly believe in miracles!
